Hi! It’s nice to meet you. I’m Shaw and I believe that narrative is everything, and everything has a narrative.

I graduated with a master’s in psychology and an interest in research and psychometrics. I am many things: educator, published author, UX designer, and developer, but no matter which hat I’m wearing, curiosity and wonder are at the core of who I am. I love to ask questions, find answers, and then use those answers to tell a story. I am passionate about the use of technology to further equality and bring people together.

I’m eager to learn and enjoy working on teams to develop solutions that centers the user and forms a sense of community. Currently, I am the communications specialist and web designer for Storyville, an online writing school that focuses on speculative fiction, a tech leadership fellow for LaunchCode, and am completing a Google certificate in UX design.
